Interesting Lamination Error
I don't collect Lincolns, nor error coins, but I've had this hanging around for about 30 years. I found it in my change when I was a kid. Is this sort of thing interesting to collectors, or just a common error? The coin itself, as you can see, is not excactly in great condition...

A bit better because of the date; (pre-1920's)
These used to be worth less than $1 in the
"old days" - now, with Ebay, scans, and the
wider base of bidders, if you put it up there
for auction, it would probably bring $8-$12,
or thereabouts....you never know what.....
Hope this info helps.
Seems it deserves a cute name like the 'speared buffalo' and all of that nonsense...

Bet someone would buy...
Actually, with the right BS marketing story, the liberal use of the word 'estate'... that is a true statement, and kind of a sad reflection on the ease of scalping the uneducated on ebay...
