Don't like the corners on this so sharp. Trimmed or not?

    If it's trimmed they didn't do a very good job of making it better centered! Right edge looks rough cut too.

    I say it is slightly trimmed. There really isn't a need to buy an ungraded high end rookie card. You could find a nice PSA 5 or 6 for a reasonable price.

    Looks fine to me and you couldn't ask for a larger scan.
    If the seller had something to hid, he sure is not making
    much of an effort to conceal anything.

    I asked the guy if he would refund my money if I sent it to PSA and it came back trimmed.

    Here is his reply.

    Hello,
    I laid this card in an empty PSA holder
    and it fits perfectly so I know it has
    not been trimmed !

    So, he has an empty PSA holder laying around but won't grade this card? Hmmm.

    Oh, well then. It must be fine. image Edit to say, it actually looks OK - but no reason to buy a key card you have doubts about raw, when you can get it already slabbed without difficulty.

    Or, maybe he submitted it looking for an 8, then cracked it out of the PSA 5 holder it came back in.

    I don't think it looks trimmed either. But as AJW said, it likely graded a 5 at least once and he figured he could sell it for more raw.

    If someone can post the picture of that Unitas RC, you can compare it to mine to eyeball the centering..not sure if that would help.

    well if it's not trimmed, I think it would grade a 3 or 4 anyways.

    At first glance, something didn't look right, so I say pass on it.
    Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

    What the heck does this have to do with anything?

    Just add L@@K! to that statement and ya got a winner.

    I can't see where it was trimmed but you eagle eyed guys spot stuff I always miss. Did anyone ask him for exact dimensions?

    I agree with Kingraider that it may be a 3 or 4 if it passes; but I'd be concerned about the one area I circled in blue. The red may hide it a bit but it looks funny to me. It is just way too smooth/sharp.
