Very Pretty 1954 France 100 Francs Essai/Piefort
I've spent a lot of the last two days photographing an old collection of 75 pieforts, and in processing this image, thought that not only was the coin gorgeous, but I really, really loved the look of the obverse image. Please enjoy!

The French have some of the prettiest coins. Many of their designs were used by early US coin designers (Liberty).
