I added my first "requested" card today

I added my first requested card to the Emmitt Smith master set a few minutes ago. Its a good feeling to know I contributed to the set.

Now, Im waiting on about a 100 more to be added to the composite

I hear you! I have been waiting forever. I think my request must have been overlooked, its been about 7 months!!!

Matt, How long ago did you request it? I put some more request in for the items that I collect , last month. I hope they get to them before June. By the way , I had asked a question in the "How did you begin collecting " about the DOG. What happened to Dodger the Fire dog after that? Before I forget , congrats on your "addition to your set ". I requested them 8-16-06. So it took appr. 5 months

I have requests in from: 8/4, 8/19, 8/31, 9/19, 10/2 and the list goes on. Still nothing. I'm getting a little irked about it as I feel like I have waited a long time and I want to email and ask. I'm just hoping none of the requests have been lost as I have heard other board members report. It is just taking way to long.

You can email the registry dept. and ask them to email you a list of all the "requests" you sent in. Just give them the email address you use for the registry and they should send it to you.

I did that before and Cosetta sent in to me after a day or two.

You can match up your requests to your cards and see if any didnt go through

I did as you suggested and got my list back. Just had new additions added yesterday to requests made 8/4. So 5 1/2 months is a while. I have a large request made 8/16 so I hope that comes up soon.

Matt - I agree. It is a good feeling to know you've contributed to the knowledge of a particular set by having a request added. Congrats; enjoy the feeling. It may not be world peace, but it's a little bit of immortality in a hobby we all love so much.

I just had around 30 added to my Favre that I requested in early to mid August. So they must be working on August right now.

I was looking at your Emmitt Smith collection to see if I could help you fill in some holes. I purchased a huge collection last week and I was going through the football stuff last night and noticed an Emmitt card that I had never seen before. You actually need it for your collection-1993 Colletors Edge Rookies F/X? It was a see through card and a very cool card. I am sure I have tons of other very difficult cards of Emmitt in this collection because this guy opened up tons of stuff and collected the really difficult subsets/inserts. If you are interested send me an email and I will look for this other stuff.
