Really OT but ebay related. Scam?

I was checking out a car on ebay, and I wrote to the seller, who has an email account in England. Check out all his other muscle cars too! All for the same BIN of $22,000. I've posted the link as well as his answer to my query. Tell me this is legitimate!!

Hi,

You have to know that the car I am selling is 100% working and very great looking, no flaws or dents, no scratches or any kind of damage. I have the clear title in hand.
I just moved to the UK because my wife is from here and she wanted to be closer to her parents. The car is here with me. To be honest, this was my brother's car but he passed away a couple of months ago. I don't want to get rich by its selling, I just want to give it to someone who will take good care of it.

Shipping will be done by Lufthansa Cargo and the car will arrive in 10 days at your address. I will pay the shipping fees. It will be insured at the shipping company for the transport. All documents, including owner's manual in english, clear title and the bill of sale will be provided along with the car.
The price i'm asking is $22,000 US.
The car is an US model. It is still registered in the US, so you won't have to pay any custom taxes and you won't have any problems registering the car to your name.

Terms: The transaction will be closed only through eBay, so both of us, you (as the buyer) and me (as the seller), will be protected.
You will have to make a $5,000 US deposit in an eBay managed trust fund (they will hold the money until you'll receive the car), I'll ship the car over, you'll inspect it, take it to a mechanical engineer to check it out, make a drive test and then pay the remaining ballance.
If, by any reason, you won't be satisfied with it ( even though I can assure you that it is exactly as described), you can return it at my expense for a full refund of your deposit, no questions asked. I think this is more than fair for both of us.

If you agree, please provide your full name, ebay user name and the shipping address and I will get everything started immediately. Afterwards, ebay will invoice you the transaction details and payment instructions.

I would really appreciate a quick answer.

Just got another response from the seller (who by the way has made an outstanding living selling DVDs), after my question of why all the cars cost exactly the same amount. BTW, does anyone see any potential for fraud here, for example, the "ebay account" to which a prospective buyer is to send the cash?

Yes they are all up for auction and all of them were of my brother's.
In order to notify eBay I will need buyer's full name, eBay user ID and the shipping address so I can start the transaction case and they will contact you for further details and instructions. I want a safe deal and I want to end this transaction through eBay.
How it works:
You make the payment of $5,000 to the eBay's safe account.
After they'll check the payment, they'll notify me to start the shipping process.
After you will receive the car and inspect it, you'll have to notify them that you have it.
Only then, eBay will send the money to my account. This is a fair deal for both.

Disgusting eBay auction.

I use to collect muscle cars and I can guarantee you, 100%.................all he said is crap. It is NOT and never has been a 22,000 dollar car.

and that is NOT how you ship one from the USA.
And it has NO invlovement about where it it registed related to customs.

Trust me, I have done this several times.

you would think that if all these cars belonged to the same guy, at least two of them would have similar background in the pics.
