TOPPS TIFFANY & Registry ??

A registry addition question--------- Can you add a Topps Tiffany to a Baseball Topps Team set? I may be off here, but it seems like a reasonable thing to do. The cards are closely identified with each other, and Tiff's are PROOF Cards of the rgular set. The cert numbers will probably answer this question. Thanks----Tony

I think you can add them but the question is should you be allowed too? My first thought was to say no, you should only put them in a Topps Tiffany Team Set. After further thought, I noticed that I have some Topps Traded Autographs in my '99 Team set. So, where do we draw the line? If you allow Topps Tiffany, do you allow Topps Parallels such as Gold inserts, Topps Chrome, etc?

unless things changed recently i dont think u can have tiffany cards in a set that isnt specifically a tiffany registy - i had asked the same question about a year ago and had several responses about how the tiffany editions are variations and cant be used unless its specifically a tiffany set - but again im not sure and maybe things are different now

I don't think the Tiffany cards can be used in the team set, and I don't think they should. The Tiffanys are a different set ,distributed differently, and are generally much easier to find in high grade than the regular Topps cards.
