I hate football sometimes

Like today. I am so 'effin sick of the Pats going each and every year. This is their worst team in the last 5-6 years and they still win. LT had the best year a RB can have and they still come up short. This sucks.

The only team left in the playoffs that I don't hate is Chicago.
<< <i>I've been waiting on some fool to intercept a ball on 4th down instead of knocking it down to cost them a game and it finally happened and cost his team a possible SuperBowl. He should of Romo'ed it. >>
Oh, but he DID Romo it -- but only after he made an interception he should have knocked down. And in the sense of being remembered as the guy whose mistake, more than any other, turned the game.

If this is their worst team in 6 years then it gives testament to how dominate they really have been. The are one win away from crating an undisputable dynasty!
<< <i>Pfft, it will be a good Super Bowl. When is the last time you saw four more hotly contested playoff games on one weekend. >>
I guess you could call Indy-Baltimore "hotly contested" in that the outcome was still nominally in doubt until the last minute or two. But man, was that an ugly and painful game to watch!
Will this be the week that the Colts defense reverts to usual form, not able to keep looking like the '85 Bears? Or will they again look great and find a way to make Brady look like a hero despite a bad game?
<< <i>3 of the 4 games went right down to the wire, it was a great weekend for football. I kept thinking that, as I watched all the games today. Not sure how you could have anything bad to say about the Patriots - if you think they had a bad team, and they still won, that's a pretty good job - don't you think? >>
I agree. They're awesome, I just wanted to see somebody different, that's all.

They didn't have a bad team, but most of us are still scratching their heads and wondering how, week-in-week-out, year-in-year-out, when it's January the Pats just don't lose no matter how bad they look. And today they were, for most of the game, looking like a pretty bad team.
I too wanted to see some new blood in the AFC, but I have nothing against the Patriots (though the Brady-worship gets old sometimes). Somehow, and yet again despite looking like they should have been beaten easily, they simply find a way to win. It's hard not to respect that.
We were blessed with some pretty exciting games this weekend, that's for sure. Can't we have just one more before bedtime?

Actually, I don't think I can sleep tonight. Not after that.
Very odd though. The two best QBs in the league played rather poorly this weekend, but they did just enough that their team was still able to pull out a win. Hope this doesn't happen next weekend when they meet again

No argument from me! When's the kickoff?
I can't wait for next weekend. This weekend, and next, are actually more enjoyable than the actual Super Bowl. These are the weekends for true NFL fans - on Super Bowl Sunday, the game often takes a back seat to the hype.
<< <i>You guys who think the Superbowl will suck now are out of your heads. Has everyone forgotten that friggen PRINCE is doing the half-time show? That's right, PRINCE!!!!!!!!!! >>
I hope he doesn't have a wardrobe malfunction.
<< <i>Bellichek wears the exact same this as he did all season. Who cares what he wears as long as the Pats keep winning >>
This gets brought up all time. It's his lucky sweater. I think someone on the team once said they're thankful if he even washes it

My wife may be one of 100 people who actually care that this Vegas sideshow act is doing the halftime show.

That "hoodie" is now available for all teams. The one he wears now is not the one he was wearing all these years. They just began making them this year with the "Your Team Here Equipment" logo.
Bought one, pretty nice, and comfortable. Didn't cut the arms off mine though.

Yea Prince - maybe the most overrated rock star of all time. His music absolutely sucks, even though I know he sold a lot of records. Hard to believe the NFL can't get somebody better than this. I think I'd rather listen to the Dixie Chicks.
if I'm in the mood for some leftist political sermons at Half, I'll just turn to CNN.
Prince is a midget.
