why would chicago call a timeout with 02 seconds left? obviously seattle isn't going to punt it, and it seems like only bad things could have happened to chicago.

    Big mistake. Either call time right after the sack (too much time to run the clock out with one play, so you punt) or let it expire.

    Had Seattle succeeded in a Hail Mary on that last play and won the game, that coaching decision would have been right up there with the Joe Pisarcik fumble in terms of the worst late-game coaching decisions of all time.

    yeah, and the game couldn't have ended on a penalty either. be that as it may, the bears won.

    i like the bears -3 next week. the saints have been hot, but there's something about a dome, hot weather team, playing in a nasty, windy environment that spells trouble.

    Grossman played a helluva game, he did have the one bad pass for the INT, but he made the big play when they needed it most.

    Even that INT wasn't really his fault - it should have been caught. Next weeks game looks to be a good one.

    could anyone tell if collinsworth was serious when he was asking if 5/8" was bigger than 1/2"? they were talking about alexander's cleats in the first half. he sounded sincere when he asked.
