I am looking for a good gold coin for a pendant. It does not have to be certified, or in perfect condition. If it has been lightly cleaned, or has some marks, that is ok. I do want nice details on the coin.
I'm rather open as to the type and date, but want to stay away from extremely small coins like the $1 gold and such (after all, I am a guy). Common dates are preferred for cost issues, and my preference would be $5 (incuse) or $10 Indian coins. I would also be open to liberty head types as well.
If you have something inexpensive that would make a nice pendant, please send me a PM.
The coin doesn't have to have a bezel already.
