Online stamp image databases

I'm looking for an online database that shows images of stamps. I'm particularly interested in pre 1900 stamps. Does any one know of any such databases? Thanks.

    No, but it would be nice to find. I'm working on a small data base here for stamps to be used as avatars. As you can see, you have found my latest one!!!! Thank airplanenut for taking the picture though. Have you tried brousing the auctions on SAN?

    If you are looking for US stamps try the following sites:

    www.uspcs.org

    Both are excellent sites.

    thanks for the info, but do you have a link? I'm not sure what SAN stands for, and google wasnt much help

    bcachot, if you want a reply to your PM to me you need to turn on your PM function. Do you know how to do that? If you don't see the orange lock in your responses then you don't have it turned on.
