Love it or hate it (and many people do hate it) but you have to acknowledge that the 1965 Topps Embossed baseball set is one of the toughest to put together in high grade.

Steve's Embossible dream set, which was the #1 set for 2005, has just reached an overall GPA of 8.00. He only needs 7 more cards to have an all 8 or better set; an absolutely extraordinary accomplishment!

<< <i>WHY? >>
Why does anyone collect anything?
Yes, as I mentioned in my initial post, it's widely known that the 1965 embossed set is unpopular. Regardless, it is a very difficult set to complete in high grade form due in part to centering but mostly because of scratching and chipping. It's a miracle that any 9s even exist 41 years after they were issued.
Anyone that is able to assemble a set of the quality of Steve's should be recognized for the achievement, not insulted because you feel the set is ugly.
