2003 Fleer Ticket Studs question

Does anyone know how these cards were distributed. I bought a nice one on eBay and it came in a top loader folded in half image Were these originally folded?????? If so, how idiotic.

    Yes they were folded. I just had two Favre's graded. One regular and one threads. I sent them in on the supersize special. This way they are holdered unfolded. Also sent some of the old pacific triple folders that way as well. They put them in some of their regular ticket holders. image

    You can still get an 8 on something that has been folded in half?? WOW ... I thought it was going to be doomed to reside in a 3 4 5 holder
