Off Topic : Question about Paypal

I figured I would ask here since we all use Paypal. Does anybody here print their shipping labels from the Paypal website? I'm thinking of doing that since I'm tired of writing out a gazillion addresses. I usually print labels on Avery labels so what size should I buy? Does it let you choose the size of the label on there? I'd like to print 1 big nice size label, like a 4x7 or something. Paypal FAQ's doesn't answer a lot of these questions. Is Delivery Confirmation really 14 cents? I pay 60 cents at the Post Office. Also, when I clicked on the print shipping label part, it's shows the addresses and tells you to enter the weight and all, and there's a part under "Shipping Options" that says "Note: Provides coverage up to $500.00 USD". Does that mean that you get free insurance?

Any help would be appriciated.

  • steve,

ps how many 9 bk checklists are there for 77 like the one you had up. (no bids at 9.99:confusedimage

  • I use it all the time and it works great. Delivery confirmation is only 14 cents on 1st class mail and they throw it in for free when you ship priority mail. You do not get free insurance and the usual rates apply as they would if you go to the post office. I think what that means is just what it says. That they will offer up to $500 of coverage but you have to pay. I buy the labels in bulk and have included an Ebay auction link so you can see what I mean. Buying them at Office Depot will cost a fortune so buy them on Ebay for pennies. You also need a digital scale so you can weigh your packages. Any other questions feel free to ask.

I also use paypal for printing my labels. I just print them onto 8.5x11 paper and cut them out. I then tape them onto the bubbler mailer, they fit perfectly on the standard one card mailer.

Cool, thanks for the help. I did find this auction which looks like the same thing. $26 for 4000 labels and I'll never have to write another address again for at least a couple years. I also won't have to stand in line at the Post Office anymore. I can't believe that I've been doing this the hard way for so long. I already have a digital scale so that works out good.

As for that Checklist 9, it is worth well more than the 9.99 that it didn't sell for. It's pretty tough to get in that grade but only the right person would need it. It's a pop 5 in 9 and pop 2 in 10 so it's not impossible, just tough.

Printing from paypal onto self adhesive labels is the only way to go. I do 200 or so per year and wouldn't do it any other way.

  • I print the labels on a full 8.5 x 11 sheet. I cut off half for the label, and keep the other half for my records.

Ok, that link I posted above for cheap shipping labels is some kind of gimmick. I hit the BIN on those, paid via Paypal, and then got an email from that seller stating that they don't ship to Ohio. WTF? So they refunded my money. No big deal but don't waste your time with companies like that. Instead I bought these labels.

Another question for you guys. When I print these from Paypal, is it going to print something else on the other label? If so, is there a way to make it not? I would like to actually ship 1200 items with these labels instead of only 600 and having 600 wasted labels. Any help is appriciated.
