......................... And Twins!

A couple of freshly-imaged pieces from my Holiday Madness buying spree. I call them twins, due to very similar toning and condition (and lack of creative thinking at 10am on Friday):

1802 LIMA 8 Reales:

1804 LIMA 8 Reales with a small die clash on the obverse:

Both are struck a bit off-center. There seems to be a number of missing denticles due to some missing metal along the edge of the coin. That often happened when the blanking press was dull and bits of metal drew up like fins along the perimeter. One was partly squashed flat in the strike at about 3 o'clock on 1804 showing a couple denticles.
