Question concerning grading across the street.

Does NGC not give *star*, PL designations to foreign coins? I ask because I've seen some amazing darkside material that should. Just curious.
Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

I don't know about anything 20th c., but I've seen NGC slabs with the PL designations on UK coinage, especially Victorian. image

The Cheshire sale had several such slabs if I recall. NEN has also listed several VBH bronzes which were graded as PL.

I have NGC world gold that has PL on the label. Don't think they do the * for World coins.

I have never seen an NGC world coin with a * on the label.

No, they do not give the * designation but they do give PL.
