MSNBC says B. Bonds popped pos for speed.

He claims he took it from another player's locker, in error.
The other player denies the claim.

This could be bad.

According to MLB policy, you're allowed to get caught once with amphetamines and not face consequences.

2nd time is 25 games, 3rd time is 50 games.

Nice of "nice guy" Bonds to blame it on a teammate. What a fun, team player to be around.

So, did he STEAL from another person in the locker room? Did he take an illegal substance knowingly? Is he just trying to blame his wrong doings on another team mate? All I know that if I was Mark Sweeney, I'd be asking for a trade or to be released from my contract because there is NO WAY I would want to be in the same clubhouse as Bonds. In fact, I wouldnt want to be a Giant player at all cuz you could be next!

Probably cannot count on that.

The McGwire vote keeps the "race card" from being wrongfully
played by Bonds. But, that may be all it does.

It appears that there is going to be a major campaign to
convince everybody that "Bonds would have been a HOFer
based on his performance BEFORE" his body went into miracle
enhancement mode.

Bonds knows this, yet he could not resist the chance to blame
the meth on somebody else. That behavior is a clear sign of
serious psych-problems.

OTOH:

When MLB was exploiting Bonds as a ticket-seller, it is uncoscionable that
NOBODY inside of the organization insisted that Bonds be given some type
of psychological treatment to solve his drug issues.

Bonds can still be rehabed, but not inside of baseball. I hope he saved
all of his money, and I hope MLB thinks their complicity in Bonds' destruction
was worth the money they made.
