Anybody in it full time?????????????
I was just wondering if there was anybody on these boards that is in the cards/memorabilia hobby full time as their main source of income?
I am not. It is just a hobby. Outside of playing professional baseball, it would be my dream job to be able to deal in high end cards and memorabilia full time. The high end stuff is so hard to come by. It's almost as though the high end stuff has to be brought to you. Believe me, I try my best to find stuff locally. I talk to as many people as I can and I run ads in the paper with some luck. It's just not near enough to do it full time.
Edited to also ask: If you are not dealing full time, what do you do for a living?
I am a Staking Engineer for a power company (electric coop).
