Card shops in Vegas??

I'm making a pilgrimage to the mecca - Las Vegas - on Jan 26-27 and was hoping to spend some quality time away from the fray.


Can someone please point me to any shop(s) or shows that are in the area?

Looks like Casey's might MIGHT be in the Tropicana... that could be interesting.

Nope. Casey's is not in the Tropicana. It's on the corner of E. Tropicana and Pecos (about 3.5 miles east of the strip on Tropicana). There is also:

The stores here are usually stocked to the hilt with modern so if you are looking for vintage you're not going to find much.

I think they got busted for selling fake auto's, it was way over priced anyways. I was paying $3 per 1967 topps football common in VG/EX

I think I have been to Baseball Card Heaven. I'm not sure. I bought a bunch of 74 and 75 singles from another shop I can't remember now. I think it was dreamcards.

His cu username was KallMaloneSay and his store was Baseball card heaven. Unfortunately it is closed. Matt (Mrn 98) was also a board member and the name of his store was Dreamcards. It's also closed.

Sports N More is gone...I have been to the one on North Tenaya and they had some ties to the Sports N More...or at least they were able to explain to me why it was no longer in business. They are some nice guys up there -and they even give me a discount on sports supplies for my school incentive. That is also the place where I was buying Jerome Williams cards since he may be coming to my school to sign autos...and I talked to the owner about how I met Mike Brown - former Jazz, Timberwolves center on a couple of occasions and even got his business card once - but told him it was long before the card incentive - well wouldn't you know it - guess who comes walking in the store at that moment? Mike Brown - and this time I asked him and he said he'd come to my school for autographs - the sooner the better.

Now that's a story you don't get everyday.

I have also been to Baseball Heaven on Flamingo - it's a pretty nice store as well.

I think Smokeys has been gone a LONG LONG time ago.

I also believe there is a card show that weekend at the Galleria mall in Henderson Nevada. I am only about 85 percent sure as I overheard a couple of dealers talking about it. It's worth a call to the mall if you are interested.

What a drag to hear those shops have closed. I'm headed out that way the end of the month. I always look forward to checking out shops when I travel as I don't have any in my town. If anyone has a copy of SCD the Hendersen show is always advertised in there...or it used to be

I stand corrected. I think Jason (Baseball Card Heaven) moved the store to W. Flamingo. They used to be across the street from the UNLV campus.

I believe they are the same ownership as they have the same phone number. The Sports N' More in the Stardust is gone because the casino itself has been closed but tho other store is still up and running. I didn't know they moved from W. Lake Mead though. I was just in there about a month ago.
