Card Buyer Protection Increased To $2K.... IF...

...the seller accepts PayPal as the payment method.

ALL OTHER "buyer protection" plans will be TOTALLY
eliminated on EBAY.

The current "let's negotiate" plan that can net scammed
buyers about $200.00 maximum (after "settlement fees"
are deducted) will be/has been terminated.

Buyers using ANY payment method other than PayPal
will be flying naked on the deal.

Looks like EBAY's insurer got tired of paying out claims
on stolen checks/money-orders, BUT, in reality, the
change is just one more step toward making PayPal
the ONLY payment method accepted on EBAY.

NOTE: During all of 2007, google-checkout is totally
free to sellers; no fees at all. Of course, that does
not help EBAY sellers, where that venue has declared
GCO as "a potentially UNSAFE" payment method and
prohibited its use.
