FSH: 1896 Barber 25c XF; eBay: 1982 & 83 P&D mint sets & other stuff; WTB: 49(P) Jeffer

As with all things, 7-day return if not pleased. Check or MO preferred, PP add 1.5% to held defray fees. References available, etc.

$53 shipped. This Barber will not slab as it was cleaned long ago, but it has excellent detail and is reasonably attractive in hand. The hairlines beneath the wing to viewer's left are no worse than any of the others -- they are not the great scratches they appear to be in the picture, they just picked up the light at this angle.
Also a 1904-O Barber 25c, VG & meaty for the grade (reverse looks more like a Fine) $17 delivered.
On eBay: Hoard of 82 & 83 P&D sets, off-metal 44-S USA-Philippine centavo, large lot of assorted foreign silver, BU 79-P near date SBA, etc.
This includes one group with all 7 1982 cents -- lg date / sm date, copper / zinc from both mints. There are various gem coins & nicely toned coins among these groups.
As for the 49(P) Jefferson -- The coins I'm after are choice or gem uncs. Need not be full steps; I will not turn away well struck coins, but the crazy premium for the last step or two does not excite me. Mainly I'm after coins with nice surfaces, generally free from marks, with some interesting tone. I do not need target Crayola monsters, just something nice to look at.
Will pay well for the right ones.

"Keep in mind that most of what passes as numismatic information is no more than tested opinion at best, and marketing blather at worst. However, I try to choose my words carefully, since I know that you guys are always watching." - Joe O'Connor
