weirdest auction ever

Okay, maybe one of the weirdest ever. I don't get it.

Definitely weird. He's on Ebay and being honest about it.
    Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

What is that coin in? The label is from an NGC bodybag.image

That was my thought as well. We all know bodybagged coins are not slabbed, but it seems the seller made it look as if it is. Not so honest IMO. - Preussen

I wish I would have found it before the auction ended! That would have made a nice addition to my counterfeit collection and it has certification saying it is (even if not in a slab)!

The top two bidders are located in Poland and Germany. Who knows whether they understand enough English to know what "Not Genuine" means.

It's certainly a dishonest auction intended to suggest that an NGC-certified item is being sold. Especially since Ebay requires sellers to verify that the coin is genuine.
