Well it seems we cant seem to figure out what to rip next. So on the advice from the earlier poll that I come up with a few options and vote here a 4 options I researched from peoples input. We would vote as a group and the poll with the most votes we will start a signup thread. I took into account what everyone asked about and these seem to be something that we as a group can decide on that would bring the most bang for the buck and fun as a group.
Update 1/11/ will close the poll friday morn 1/12 and start a signup thread for the option with the most votes.
option 1) 1 pack each 1977/78/79/80/82/83/84/85 topps 82/83/84/85 donruss and fleer
16 packs approx $100 per person
option 2) 1 pack each 1977/78/79/80/82/83 topps 84 donruss 85 fleer
8 packs approx 80 per person
option3) 1 pack each 1977/78/79/80 topps 2 packs each of 82/83 topps 2 84 donruss 2 85 fleer
12 packs approx 100 per person
option4) another complete 80's rip 80-89 topps donruss fleer score bowman upperdeck
32 packs approx 69 per person
give or take $5 on each option. If we come to a consensus as a group ill work out the price with steve and get a final cost. Yes im sure we would all like to add or take something out of these options but I took the input of those who reponded and this seems like the best options to make enough people happy to make the rip happen.

first of all, welcome!
The rips are a great way for our community to share in the joy of tearing open vintage wax.
A group of us (usually 36) all pool our money together to buy a bunch of vintage wax. One guy organizes it, collects the money, orders the product, and sends everything out to the rest of us. We then post our results and just share in the fellowship of a group pack bust.
Best explanation is to look at a recent example.

Well the voting looks close between 1 and 3 hopefully which ever one wins we will get enough to people to do it.
Beantownboy as far as 2nd lots go I usually like to give everybody a shot at at least one lot. What i'll do is have a backup list for those who want seconds this way if we dont get 36 people hopefully enough will want seconds to fill the list.
As far as deciding the winning option lets say whichever hits 36 votes first since we need 36 people or whichever has the most votes by friday morn at 8am pst. does this sound good
