Pac-10 replay officials do it again...

First they screwed Oklahoma a few weeks ago against Oregon. Now they "confirm" an obviously bad call as a TD.

These guys stink.

Here is excuse #1. Keep them coming OSU fans.

Remember "Speed Wins" and the Big 10 is SLOW.

Umm, I'm not an OSU fan. So try again. I'm just making an observation.

It's unfortunate that some people think you can't make observations without it being tainted by fan bias.

Is the replay guy from the Pac 10 ? I thought I heard differently from the announcers.

It was close and Florida would have scored on the next play anyway. Ohio State can't stop them right now.

BTW I do not like either team so it is not team bias from me.

Don't disagree about your latter comment. Most likely the bad call didn't matter, as Florida very likely scores a TD anyway, but it was still a botched review.

The officials are Pac-10. Usually the guy in the booth is from the same conference as far as I know. If it was a Pac-10 guy in the booth, then everyone in the conference needs some remedial work on replays in the off-season.
  • Yep, that was a bad call. They also missed a hold on #8 of Ohio State on the opening kickoff. The Florida guy would have had a chance for the tackle.

    Boise State should be #1.

I thought his knee was down at the one also. However, the replay officials had no choice. They have to have indisputable evidence to overturn. The only camera angle that would have produced an overturn was blocked by other players in the view.

How cool would it be if they won their game like they did, and it was a true playoff game giving them the title? It would have been one for the ages...

It was confirmed because the call on the field was a touchdown...there was not conclusive evidence of where the ball position was to overturn the call.

Quit yer' whining, the pac 10 has the best officials and the best players!!image

Yeah well, a few years ago an obvious bad call led to a national championship for these guys
