More autograph IDs sought

image

Can I solicit your identifications, speculations or wild-a$$ guesses on these sigs? I believe they originated at one or more of the Tuff Stuff shows in Chantilly, Va., 6-8 years ago. The only name I can make out it Brian Jordan on the dual-signed ball. The ball at upper-right also has Earl Weaver's autograph and is an A.L. ball; the others are N.L. balls. Thanks much!

The ball on the lower left looks a little like Kurt Abbott, though I don't know why anyone would want to ruin a perfectly good baseball like that.

Kurt Abbott Miscellaneous Items of Interest

Its not Abbott. He never had a uni # 34

    Team Uniform Numbers
    1993 Oakland Athletics 11
    1994 Florida Marlins 7
    1995 Florida Marlins 7
    1996 Florida Marlins 7
    1997 Florida Marlins 7
    1998 Oakland Athletics 7
    1998 Colorado Rockies 7
    1999 Colorado Rockies 7
    2000 New York Mets 20
    2001 Atlanta Braves 11

I went to school with Kurt through grade school. We played in the same little league. We also worked together at JC Penny when we both were 20.

He never "made it" in MLB for one reason. The guy was good, he had loads of talent. The problem he had was his work ethic. When we worked together at JC P. we did stock work and spent alot of time un-supervised. Instead of getting the work done like he was supposed to he would rather go hide and goof off all day. He was there longer then me so it was his job to show me what to do. When he showed me what he did all day I was astonished. I couldnt believe how he was comfortable getting paid knowing he didnt deserve it.

I dont care how much talent someone has, if their work ethic stinks they wont go anywhere as evidenced by his career.

Matt - cool story about Kurt Abbott...I too went to school with some amazing athlete in Oakland, CA in the 1970s and they just didn't get the big picture. Lot of them became academic ineligible and couldn't play HS sports or went on to college or minor leagues (baseball) and couldn't hack it with the tougher competition and being away from Oakland.

And drugs got a few of them.

Millwood does make more sense to see on a sweet spot ball.
