Tiki went out on top....

Thanks for the memories! 10K+ rushing yards, 5K+ receiving, and 5 games with 200+ rushing yards. He'll always be one of my favorites, and although it sucks that he's walking away I'd rather have it like that then limping away being pushed out by the organization. He went out on top, 1600+ rushing yards this season. I tip my cap.

  • Tiki was one of the best gentleman to ever play pro football. The only thing negative about him in my mind was the fact he let the world know he was retiring after the season when the Giants were 5-2 and looking strong. After the announcement the Giants went 3-7 including the playoffs. But that aside, he was an incredible football player both rushing and receiving and he was fun to watch - even to us non-giant fans. Do you have his children books that he and his brother co-authored? They are pretty cool.

    Hats off to Tiki. image

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if some day he is the co-owner of some sports franchise. A very talented guy for sure.

I see what you're saying but after they were 5-2 they lost the following starters for the season:
    Michael Strahan
    Lavar Arrington
    Amani Toomer
    Luke Petitgout

I think those injuries, coupled with all the "talking" by the players led this team to fall apart. I don't have any of his books(I did take a look for them last week actually) but my 12 grade english teacher actually went to school with and knew the Barber brothers.
