Help with 2 autos

I need help identifying two autographs that I acquired from a collection.

The ticket stub is from September 5th, 1992. I assume it is a Cardinals player, but not 100% for certain.

The index card came from an album that had all Cardinals autographs in it, so it is most likely a Cardinals player (probably from the 90's or 2000's), but not for sure.

Any help would be appreciated.

I checked a '92 Cards roster and didn't see anything that looked like that. Coach maybe?

The ticket stub is signed by recently deceased player Jose Uribe. Uribe was with the Giants that year, but a check of the records shows that they played the Cardinals that day.

The 3x5 appears to be Donnell Nixon (brother of Otis)

I found pretty good confirmation on the Uribe auto.

I can't find anything on Nixon. Where could I find one to compare it to?

By the way, thanks for the help.

    Thanks, Mike.

I think the "N" in Nixon verifies it, don't you?

Or you could look at the ticket stub itself and see that it says vs. Giants. lol image

They look similar - the index card looks like he was in a hurry.

After all - who would want to forge his auto?

The guy played for a few years in the majors - don't know much about him.

I concur on Jose Uribe (RIP) on the ticket. I have a signed card or two of him around here somewhere. I'll post if I find it.

You guys are amazing. I think I need to post a few autos that I have NO clue about. Great work!

    Bring 'em on!

It's actually one of the things I enjoyed most about collecting autographs. Back in the day I bought a lot of collections and there would always be a few that just couldn't be deciphered. I actually might still have a few in my "unknown" file but I haven't looked at those in years.

Another great thing about the Internet!

    Mike,

It's not that I think it was forged, just that I was verifying that it was Nixon and not someone else.
