Signed baseball bats--up for grabs.

So this thing for me in Columbia SC is looking permanent. Hence, another official move, which means more stuff to lug from state to state. Well, I'm getting tired of lugging stuff I have no plans on unpacking, so I'm offering up some signed bats to whoever wants them. First come first served. All I ask is you send me a few bucks to offset the shipping. I don't do the paypal thing though.

Anyway, here are the bats with condition:

Michael Restovich cracked spring training Louisville

Wilson Betemit New Rawlings Big Stick taken

Jason Hart cracked spring training Louisville taken

Eric Byrnes Louisville taken

Alex Cintron cracked spring training Louisville taken

Shannon Stewart cracked spring training Louisville taken

Carlos Pena cracked spring training Louisville taken

Jason Conti cracked spring training Louisville taken

Adam Kennedy cracked spring training Louisville taken

Joe Borchard Louisville taken

Marcus Thames cracked spring training Louisville taken

The Kennedy was purchased from a big time dealer several years ago. The Betemit was obtained from a private signing. All the rest were obtained in person from spring training games--the bats were 'community' bats that the players used that were given out to fans.

I know. I know. A bunch of never will bes on this list, but there are some decent players there as well. Hopefully some members here will really be looking forward to getting one of these bats. PM your requests.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

    That's very generous Only

Any player collectors should be happy - plus come on guys - I think a nice donation to the Onlyanumber moving on out foundation is only fair.

    Good luck on the move.

    Very generous of you!

I love bats but not familiar with any of those players. I'm sure there's a collector out there that would appreciate it more than I.

    Props to you image
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

  • No problem guys. Bats have all been shipped--some went out earlier than others--kind of hard to hit the post office consistently when you are back and forth between two houses in two states...
