    That hurt!
  • Nice to see the NE fans cheering when they thought Pennington was hurt. Classy.

Seriously. Who bets against these guys in January?
  • Congrats to Perkdog and the other NE fans image. We played a spirited game, but Brady is money and you have the better team. Good luck in San Diego. That will be a great game to watch!
  • solid game in all aspects by the pats. Penalties were a problem, but most of them
were due to agressive play. image

Anyone know what the NE-SD line is? Bill vs Marty seems like a mismatch to me. Can Bill find a way to neutralize LT?

I almost did. I thought the Patriots would win but by a much closer margin, but in my heart I could not do it.

Agreed, the whole thing is nonsense to even consider otherwise.

Brady looks good as he normally does. He's great to have in there when the money's on the line. I really thought the the Pats were the better team. LT &co, next week, Good Luck

What a great game - but, I tip my cap to the Jets. They had a much better season than expected, and I have a lot of respect for Pennington for coming back the way he did after two major injuries. They'll be better next season.

As for this season, the Pats look to be peaking at the right time. Should be interesting.

It opened SD -6, while NE was leading late in the 4th quarter, now it's moved to SD -4.5.

I think it'll be close, but 4.5 is an awfully small number for a #1 seed after the bye.

Agreed. I think it's the Marty/Bill matchup that'll keep the line lower than expected, especially given Marty's playoff record, even with top seeded teams (like KC).

Also, there will be a lot of focus on Brady vs. a rookie QB in his first playoff game (Rivers) which probably keeps the line down a bit.

And the Pats stay and continue on, but will they be able to win their next game?
