In the Cowboys locker room after the game....

Probably pretty quiet in there. I suspect many of the players thoughts of Romo were "you lost the game for us" but they would
not say that out loud I'm sure. What an awful thing to have to live with during the off season for poor Romo.

Actually TO said and I quote, "I will be there for him". What a comforting reassurance that must be.

Heard one comment about this -
"It's like a butcher consoling a cow."

I am anything BUT a Cowboys fan, but a couple of things should be born in mind:
(1) If that statue Bledsoe was still QB, the Cowboys don't even make the playoffs. Hell, they'd be lucky to finish 7-9.
(2) "There but for the grace of God go I." I think every player in that locker room realizes that. Everyone in that locker room has screwed something up on the field, and they all know it (even TO privately, I'm sure). Yeah, Romo made his at a most unfortunate and inopportune time. But I think everyone in that locker room knew it COULD have been them. And I suspect as professionals, they'll keep that in mind, knowing that if it were *them* they wouldn't want to hear their teammates talk them down.
I agree, there is really nothing they can say that is going to change what happened. I'm sure he feels rotten about it
