1980 or 1981 Topps Big Cards??

I have done shows for years and I have never seen these! I bought two sets with the original boxes. THey have 60 cards in the set and a card is the size of four regular cards. The box came with 48 packs(1 card per pack). The box is yellow and has a .15 per pack price from topps. I was just wondering if you have any info on them. They cards are perfect with the gloss still on them. I really like them and just wondering a value or some info. The boxes that the packs came in are pristine. I believe they are 1980 but could be wrong!

Do they look like this?
I have some boxes - the cards are loose and not wrapped - wish they were - the graphic appearance would be off the chart!
I think they're great for getting sigs BTW.

The year after your cards were produced, Topps had a mail-in offer for a 15-card National set of this size. Here are shots of that set:
1980 Big Cards
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
<< <i>I bet if those suckers got graded - if it's possible - they would go for a pretty penny because A - the size of the PSA would be cool and B - there are so many yet I haven't seen any graded. >>
Unfortunately the reason you haven't seen them is because they're not worth having graded - they would have to go in the over-size T3 holders - last time I sent in a T3, it cost me 35 bucks.
You can see - a case of 24 boxes goes for like 75 bucks - not very special.
Now, if ya get'm signed? They would look great - but again - IMO, not worth the expense of holdering.
