I saw it in Angel Dee's inventory about 2 weeks ago listed for 5k. I'm not sure if its from the recent find.

Andy listed is as "Beautiful Toning". If you can, post an image of it.

  • Thanks to all. The coin is a beauty. And I will try to find my old scanner and get a scan up. Sorry no camera. And yes it came from my friend Andy at Angle Dees. I believe he had submitted the coin raw.

    Congrats to Al

It's hard to imagine this variety fully struck but there's always a first for everything. I thought this 1950-D had a unusally full strike. Does anyone here have this coin?

    Hey Allan,

The scan looks GREAT!!!! How about posting scans of all your other Nickels for us to admire??? I know it would be greatly appreciated.

  • The scans came close but did not show true colors. Target toned with blue around the rim and rose toned centers.

    Al

The coin looks really nice although the strike looks a little soft. You may need to make some adjustments with the way the scanner is directing the light on your coin. Hopefully you will scan your entire collection, I would really like to see the quality of your coins.

    Regards, Leo
