anybody ever dealt with ebay member shawne435?

This "guy" had bid on a tobacco card I had up for auction a few weeks ago...and won. Then he proceeds to tell me that he doesn't have paypal and cant pay for a auction that was paypal only. I was a little aggitated but let it go and relisted the card (it later sold to a fellow board member). Now...this guy has put an offer in an a autograph lot I have up for sale. The auction clearly states BIN is for immediate payment with paypal only. I just see more trouble here.....to top it off he just left me positive feedback for the first card that he won and never paid me for (and strange feedback at that). Has anyone else dealt with this guy before???

No but I would consider blocking him from biding. Otherwise email him and ask him again if he intends to pay with paypal as per the terms. If not, BLOCK!

  • The offer he has made is pretty much what I'd take for the cards....but he's a bit of a nut. I talked to him on the phone after the other auction he won of mine, when he said he couldn't pay through paypal. He went on and on .....I just wanted to know what the deal was with the payment. He said he did have paypal, but wouldnt pay through it at the time due to being "count dracula" in a play. I told him to just forget it and relisted the card. Now he leaves me positive feedback? For what? What a nut. I will be putting him on my non-bid list.

I would put him on my BBL, fast.

I would not communicate with him further.

There an old addum that says if you lend someone $20 and you never see them again, it was probably worth it. Lock the door and walk away. On ebay if you pull up " iamnotgoingtopay " ,it a real person and yes THEY DID NOT PAY. If I saw that coming , I'd hit the eject button quick , then run and lock them out. There was no mention of Translyvania or that ilk . This is the 3rd person to use this and pull this stunt. Thanks for the heads up on this Bozo, I really thought I got most of them.
