PCGS Registry coin number problem

Hi all, I have a situation and I hope someone here can help me out. I have just purchased an 1890-S Morgan on Teletrade and the cert. number clearly reads 7202.64/08849964. When I try to enter the cert. number into my Registry set,it says Bad Cert. Number. Anyone know why that is, or what I can do to make this coin admissable to the set? Thanks, Andy

  • Welcome to the boards Andy. I tried your 08849964 number in the cert verification and it does come up as not valid. I double checked your number with the Teletrade results and your number is correct. I'd drop the set registry folks an email at setregistry@pcgs.com and advise them of the situation. I'll bet they can get it corrected or at least point you in the right direction. Good Luck, CCG
