Your favorite oddball sets.

What is everyone's favorite oddball sets? For me, I'm going with:

HOCKEY: 1955 Quaker Oats. Actually one of my favorite sets overall.
FOOTBALL: Probably the 1970 Super Glossies.
BASEBALL: I'd have to go with the Red Man sets, but a couple other sets in close contention would be '58 Hires (with tabs) and the 1992 Fan Fest set (great photography).

1959 Fleer Ted Williams set.I once owned this set however I sold it to accumalate some cash in order to pursue other vintage sets 1953 Topps.I do have regrets and hopefully I can purchase another one down the line.I only paid $100 for the set in 1984 made almost 10x the amount when I sold it a couple years back.

1950 R423. The master set is almost 375 cards (Cobb and Greenberg appear with or without a script name, and there are 3 different color backs of each card - green, orange, and purple). The checklist mixes current and retired players (and managers), and is heavy on HOFers - it's the cheapest playing days DiMaggio, and the cheapest Ruth and Gehrig from the era, among others. Unlike most other strip cards, it uses black and white photos rather than artwork, and cards can be found singly, in partial strips, or in full strips (the strips were perforated, so individual cards are gradeable without issues of cutting along the lines).

Oh, and the cards are 3/4" by 1/2".

I would pay decent money for upgrades to the Schmidts I need in panel form.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
