Name that autograph!

Hi there, I was hoping someone knows who signed this ball. This is an official Rawlings MLB Bud Selig baseball. It was given to me by a scout in the Cubs organization in 2005 but he couldnt remember who had signed it for him. Billy Williams is clear but who is the other one?

Kinda looks like a rushed messy Lou Brock.
  • Definately Lou Brock. It better be if you are going to make Billy Williams sign on a side panel......

Heh. I think it's an unwritten rule that your signature has to be completely unreadable in order for you to be a bonafid celebrity. Anyway, I've definitely seen worse.

  • Just a rushed signature other then a sit down 10,000 appearance fee signature........

Hey, Siggy. Welcome! I've no idea whose sig that is, but there sure is a lot going on there. The first name does looks like Ken, but I'm lost after that.

It doesn't look like any Lou Brock signatures I've ever seen. If anything, at least the first name, it looks like a rushed Ken Griffey Jr (the K is pretty much identical to other Griffey Jr sigs).

  • If it were Lou Brock it probably would have at least one trait of Brocks signature, no? I'm no forensic handwriting analyst but this just isn't the same as his handwriting style. Brocks sig seems to have been written in a penmanship teachers style. When I sign my name fast, Brian always starts with the same B. Sell me on this Brock thing... Every example I've seen of Brocks sig is (almost without exception) just like the one above. I understand the fast/rushed/messy/unpaid for signature theory, but if it applies here... IMO its someone other than Brock.

  • Is it Kerry Wood?

    Remember these Chuck Norris Facts

    1. When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn't lifting himself up, he's pushing the Earth down
    2. According to Einstein's theory of relativity, Chuck Norris can actually roundhouse kick you yesterday
    3. There are no such things as lesbians, just women who have not yet met Chuck Norris
  • I wish it was Kerry Wood. I actually have a Kerry Wood signed ball and it doesnt resemble that one.
