A Topps error card missed by everyone?

This is a 70T Baseball #76 card back of Carl Taylor.
Notice that the cartoon says that Carl's hobby is "COLLETING" coins. I doubt if this was corrected? I'm not a collector of the set.
I have the pen and ink of the card - so you can see where the mistake came from. I guess someone was asleep when proof reading. Plus, you would think that they would see the mistake when they viewed the artists pen and ink for it?
I was just putting away all the art pieces I've picked up - I'm starting to work on getting the cards to go with the pen and inks. This one was given to me by Vargha.

Topps also spelled "through" incorrectly, too!
They wer just bing cost effcient by savng the o's,g's and h's. See? I just saved some letters as well
