bccg crossover

I know this question has been asked before but I'm watching several bccg 10's and wondered how they would crossover since they fit my collection

thanks

You'd be lucky to get a 9 if you were to cross one of their "Mint or Better" 10s.
    Who is Rober Maris?
  • Thanks - I think I'll pass on bidding!

actually, it depends on how the card looks..if you dont have a real good scan of the front and back move on......some BCCG 10's have crossed to a PSA 10 for me....sometimes even a blind squirel finds a nut.

Ditto. I had 2 '83 Topps Gwynns that were BCCG 10's which turned into 8's when I sent them to PSA

I would expect 8's on most of them, sight-unseen. You may find some 9's or even 10's. However, I am not sure how closely they look for trimming. I would suspect that recolored and counterfeit cards do not make it into the holders though. If a crossed over 8 fits in your budget and collecting goals then you may find some deals. If they do better, then jackpot for you. image

I do not have any experience crossing them over, but from the ones I've seen in person most would garner 8's and 9's in my estimation.

Sometimes you can get lucky -- but rarely.

You can do your homework and look at enlarged scans with the corners and what not.

But there are some sellers, for instance, who mix their submissions between a variety of graders. For one seller in particular (whom I shall not name here), I'm pretty convinced that anything that does not make it to there BGS or PSA submissions, the next tier down goes to BCCG so that they can get a 10 grade for a relatively small submission fee.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
