Paypal Question

So I've been selling some "shiny new stuff" on Ebay recently. I accept Paypal and all my buyers have paid with it. Heres what I don't get. Yesterday, I received 2 payments. One for $28.50 of which Paypal took $1.13. The other payment was $26.51 and Paypal took $1.33! I understand they get a cut, but why did they take more from a payment that was less?

I am not complaining about 20 cents, I am just trying to make sense of it. Can anyone explain this to me?
Looking for Carl Willey items.

  • Also, have you every tried to figure out Paypals buyer protection. I purchased a box of 85 Topps Hockey, the guy never sent it stating he was robbed of all his precious merchandise. I filed a dispute, which was promptly closed because the seller said he was going to issue a refund. Well Paypal tried to collect but his bank was short of funds, so after 10 days the refund was refused. Now I have to file a claim, but cannot find the link anywhere. They sure have links stating what the policies are but nowhere can I find a link to upgrade my dispute to a claim. Nothing but a scam all the way around.
