New Here!!!!!

Hi everyone I thought I might introduce myself since I'm new here. I'm Kyle and I've been collecting game used memorabilia for a little over a year now. I used to be a card collector but after realizing how cheap game used memorabilia is I decided to change directions in my collection. I'm glad to see that I found a forum for sports collectors that actually has tons of posts daily.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Where does a 16 year old kid get the money to buy all that stuff? Must have cost a lot.
Though I can't say I agree with you deciding to collect on a false claim through Paypal to get the Guzman GU hat for free. That was flat out wrong and stealing in my book. And then to brag about it, very poor taste.

I've spent about $2000 in the past year. Most of the money came from selling my entire game used card collection. I had tons of them

It wasn't a false claim. I was supposed to recieve the hat after 3 days (they always send priority mail), and after about 10 days I filed a claim since I didn't recieve the hat and they wouldn't respond to e-mails. About 5 days before the claim expired for them to respond, the hat finally arrived, and it said on the box that it was shipped 10 days after I had already paid. I was just mad at them so I never cancelled the claim and they never responded to it and I eventually got all the money back. It was only $30 anyways.
I don't blame you for filing the claim but once you received the item the right thing to do would have been to cancel the claim (regardless of their action or inaction). It was dishonest to pretend that you never received the hat, and the amount of the transaction is irrelevant to the issue. Are you saying it's OK to be dishonest if it's under a certain amount? Only $30, how about if it was $50, $75, $100, would it have been different then?

"My Name Is Earl"
Not really; but that is the name of a pretty good TV show.
Earl has a list of 100 folks that got the shaft at his hands.
In order for him to find redemption (and forgive himself),
he has to "make it right" with ALL of those folks. His list is
REALLY long because he waited a REALLY long time to write
it down.
If you were to call the guys who sold you the hat, tell
them about the mistake, and send them their refund, that
would be one less name for you to write down on your list
when you get to be Earl's age.
