On Ebay: 8 Unopened 72&73 Proofs in ORIG mailer box from the mint, also unopened

I finally solved my computer problem, and I listed them tonight. They are now on my site on Ebay.

There are (5) Five 1972 Proof sets and (3) 1973 Proof sets, all encased in their original Blue Mint mailer
box. The boxes are undamaged and in excellent condition, with the address labels intact. This is your chance to be the FIRST to ever open them...

Also...sooon it will be going, going, GONE for a 1914 Large Note and a 1928 CRISP United States Note, Red Seal.

Ending in a little more than a day, a Mercury Dime album with some nice, AU Mercury dimes in it, and
ONLY 4 total missing ! Plenty of photos to look at.

Here is the link to my site....Thanks for looking!

    Cool.

I looked at it and put in my zip code. You do know that you can ship for a lot less than it shows, right? You can see about the FLAT RATE box (not sure if they have one that will fit those 2, but they may).
It's showing almost $16 shipping for me using priority ($33.55 if express, but I wouldn't use that).

What about first class? Not available from looks of it.

I'm always interested in "modern" unopened boxes from the mint of proof sets and mint sets but the shipping is scary (yes...calculate that into the bid and use that for a decision, but still....)

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  • Yes, thank you for your comments on the shipping. I am still having problems with figuring postage on anything that has any weight to it. These are a little heavy. In order to make the priority mail postage come out right, you have to be sure and have the weight figured in. But, then it makes the express weight way out of range (I have just learned). What I believe re: the first class postage is that it is too heavy
    to qualify for first class.

What I may do, is send the invoice with the actual cost of registered mail and insurance. I will put on my site that the winner is to contact me for correct shipping charges. I just want to have insurance and have it protected. These are not really replaceable, of course, only the sales price is. I will make certain that I do not overcharge for shipping. I was quite surprised by the cost it showed for express mail.

    Does that help?
