Matt Millen to return as Lions president

Matt Millen is coming back.

Why? Seriously, why? Haven't the Lions fans suffered enough? Does he have some good blackmail pictures or something on Ford?
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

    It defies all rational understanding. This is the same team that kept the horrible Wayne Fontes as coach for 8 years so the

    Old man William Clay Ford is just giving the big FU to the fans. Remember this is the same family that let Ford Motor slide into oblivion before bringing in a new guy to fix the mess.

    I'm not here to defend Millen, but think about it.

    You are Matt Millen. You are making a ton of money to do...well.....not much given the team's history. Why quit? No one else will pick you up. If you quit, you don't get paid. Get fired, though, and you do.

    If I was Matt Millen and the Ford family said, "We want you back", I'd stay and hope I got fired if things didn't improve.

    I agree, but when was the last time you met one? At work, in life, or in the news for that matter? Bob Nardelli cuts Home Depot's market value and walked away with >$200 million. Is that a real man? Even if he was a real man and walked away with much less, no one would still care.

    A lot of people do it but of course don't make a public announcement of that being the reason.

    Admitting failure either to yourself or to someone else is not all that horrible, I've done it myself a few times.

    The Lions are a Joke. That team needs to be cleaned out from the top all the way down to the basement.
