.... in a awesome made-for-tv game? I, myself, would be willing to throw $20 into a winner takes all pot.

Interesting concept ... I'd be in for $20
but now it's time for all those "students" you saw playing
to get back to what's really important to them : their studies and a good solid education.
Another game would only waste precious time they could be using to further pursue their academic goals!
