Cogratulations Bob Knight!!!

I watched the game today. Did anyone else? What was your feeling about the game and/or about Bob Knight himself. I think IU gave him the shaft personally.

Bob Knight would be the complete coach if he could control his temper.

His teams win and his programs don't get into trouble with the NCAA. His kids graduate and stay out of trouble. Despite that he may always be best remembered for his raging temper.

As for IU giving him the shaft, I think they saw him as a ticking time bomb, a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I am so sick about hearing about him. He's a good a coach. Move on. This has been going on about 3 weeks

A good coach does not assault his players, ie. Bob Knight is not a good coach.

That'd be like calling me a good father if my kids all grew up to be Nobel Peace Prize winners, despite the fact that I beat them and locked them in closets.

I don't really do that by the way.

In addition to the need for IU to migitate legal exposure, IU firing Knight probably saved his career. He is certainly making more of an effort to keep his conduct in check at TT (for him).

If IU continued to look the other way, his behavior would have worsened, and he may have ended up in jail.
