25,000 Sets !!!!!!

As of today there are almost 25,000 PSA registered sets, it is less than 200 short !!!
Quite a number, when PSA started this concept they probably did not realize how much interest there would be. Regardless of any shortcomings or problems, the set registry is here to stay and seems to gain in popularity each year.
It would be interesting to know how many different people actually have registered sets.
The total number is, of course, inflated by master sets, team sets, HOF sets, player sets, Etc. Some collectors have many different sets, a top collector like Jim C. seems to have one of every set possible !
Is the number of separate and unique, individuals or e-mail addresses who have one set or more registered, available from PSA ? Perhaps this information may be found from the website in a manner unfamilar to myself. I would guess a good number would be about 2400 different people participate. Anyone know for sure, or any other estimates ?

just 64 different sets in all 4 sports & misc sports
and no Baseball set from the '60's & up.
Now if you only can find a way to go back to 7 years ago and buy
vintage cards at the 2000 level - let me know!

In any event, there's a lot of room to grow. In hockey, for instance, the ONLY player master sets that really get any attention are Howe and Gretzky. And there are a ton of great NBA players that don't really have any dedicated collectors chasing down a master set. Add to this basically every post-1980 set (since none of them, with the notable exception of 1984 Donruss, have any kind of competition on the registry) and it will be fascinating to see where the next generation of collectors decide to take third party grading.
And, there are several sets I need to re-register because they haven't had any activity in over a year and dropped off the listings.
Many of my sets have just 1 or 2 cards, although I don't register a player set unless I have at least 3 cards of the player.
Anyone else even more unfocused?

You have me beat--I have a mere 270 registered.
I should have spent my vacation doing team sets rather than ski--I'll get you next year.

I wonder if PSA has ever received a 2000 card submission before that they had to grade for free.

Probably a dozen or so for GAI, their site is down, but the registry never got running. I put one set up there but it garbled all the data and they never fixed it.
Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
