What is your favorite Topps Regular series design by decade? **UPDATED**

Mine go something like this:

50's - 1955

60's- 1962

70's - 1973

80's - 1982

90's - No opinion

00's - 2006 (It is the only one that I have from the 2000's)

Overall my favorite Topps design of all time is the 1955. Special issue would be the Heritage series.

What are yours?

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. 1950's - 1959 - The bright colors really capture the feel of the era. My favorite star photo in the set is Al Kaline. Great picutre of him swinging his bat.

1960's - 1963 - I like the bright colors and two photos on each card. My favorite star photo from the set is Koufax.

1970's - 1976 - Nice blend of colors while still maintaining white borders. My favorite card is the George Brett. Not a great action shot, but a nice photo.

1980's - 1983 - I like the 1984 cards better, but some of the photos look faded (Joe Morgan, Rickey Henderson etc.). My favorite star card photo is Paul Molitor. I love the old Brewers helmets.

1990's - 1997 - Nice colors and great photography. My favorite star photo is Derek Jeter.

2000's - 2001 - The 50th Anniversary cards are nice. I would put 2003 as a close second. My favorite photo in 2001 is Mark McGWIRE.

I thought I would add something different by picking my favorite card in each set. I didn't include commons because I have not seen them all for the older sets.

    50's-1958
    60's-1966 (where is the love?)
    70's-1975
    80's-1983

you should start a thread what are the worst designs by decade
60's-1968 (what's the deal with the big dots on the first series and small dots on the rest of the cards?)
    70's-1974
80's-1987- i am not a fan of the wood paneling. although i may get slammed by a lot of 1987 fans

    thanks
