We're not going out - this will be a quiet one.

I asked my wife if she wanted to go over family or friends and she wanted to chill this year.

I wonder if having it fall on a Sunday may have something to do with it.

    Hi!

    Going to a friends house who is grilling porterhouse steaks for dinner! Red meat and red wine...yummy!!

    Pretty laid back. It's been an extremely stressful few months for me and my family. Watching a lot of football. After the kids are asleep, I'm going to try and put this $650 video card to use and play some Oblivion on my PC.

    We are just going to kick it at the homestead. As was mentioned above, I don't like being on the roads on this day. Some good food and a Bears game.

    Im watching my 6 year old daughter throw up and my wife also. just glad my son didnt ctach it yet... i had this stomache bug the day after xmas lasted 24 hours. now my family has it..

    what a way to break in the new year!

    My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

    My wife and I stayed home this year. We'd rather do that than be out on the road with crazy drivers. I had to work till 9 anyway. Came home and watched a Marx Bros. marathon on TV and at some good home cooked food. Watched the ball drop and had some champagne. Then went to bed.
