This would be totally true to form; the Lions somehow win this game, Oakland gets the 1st overall pick, and Brady Quinn goes on to become the next Joe Montana.

The Cowboys have clinched a playoff spot, so I suspect their intensity is down. That might reduce the "major upset" status of it -- sort of like the Texans beating the Colts last week when Indy didn't really show up to play.
Still, they can win the division with a victory & a Philly loss, You'd think that, and the luxury of being home for the playoffs next week instead of being on the road, would be more than enough motivation against a team like Detroit.

Miami over Chicago was the biggest upset of the year.
Agreed there. Still, this would be up in the top 5.

Hmmm NE beat Chicago, Miami beat the Bears by 18 and the Pats by 21. Seems to me that was a bigger upset.

I'm really disappointed, Tom. You should know better than this. Of COURSE the Lions were going to win today; if they just packed it in and lost they would have 'earned' the #1 pick in the draft. And who needs that kind of pressure?
Edit to add: Is there anyone in America right now that's happier than Brady Quinn?

A big slow one at that

The Fins got Brady's number though. He's never done well against Miami.

Boo, I am ashamed and not worthy of my id. You would THINK that I would know better. I actually thought that Dallas had much more on the line, but still I should know better. But I'm still very surprised. A ROAD GAME AT THAT!
INVESTMENT ADVICE: WHOEVER ENDS UP BEING THE #1 DRAFT PICK, BUY HIS ROOKIE CARDS. BUY BUY BUY!!!
