I'm going to be collecting more on the Dark Side, mostly because the U.S. market is getting too hyped, too pricey and too rife with shenanigans.

I'm going to drop ANACS as my primary TPG. I'm now going to submit any coins I want graded to PCGS as I have lost confidence in ANACS. And I used them for many years.

I'm going to sell or trade my ho-hum coins for WOW coins. Why keep all this stuff that I don't love when I could have stuff that image?

I am going to attempt to slow down, and be pickier about what i get for my albums.

    I have zero patience.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year!

  • My goal this year is to build up my library and read more. A couple nice coins for my type set wouldn't hurt either image
Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!

I won't be buying any coins. At least for the first 10 months or so.

Let me give you some sage advice here. Getting married does not have a good return, or effect on your numismatic career.

Unless you are gonna flip her like modern bullion.

You better be marrying a Classic to retain it's value...stay away from those modernsimage

No get a modern, the moderns are shiny.

OK sorry for hijacking this thread.

Once again, I will try and be more patient with my coin selections, and I will try harder not to hijack threads, NEXT YEAR.

Why would that piss them off? You are leaving more goodies for them. I wish every one would put a lot of money into moderns and leave more classics for me.image

Because classic collectors would love nothing more than to see the modern market drop like a lead zeppelin.

I'm going to stop selling as much and consentrate on keeping.

    Why?

I'm getting tired of seeing the good stuff go away.
