Thanks guy's for contributing your copper here! Larry I like the dark chocolate color on that 1901 IHC and it looks like it may have a little original skin left ANACS details grade; scratched. I say super value coin that fit's right nice in my 7070
Edited to add: Bill has a much more detailed example with better color
While we're at it. I'm an EACer and don't have slabbed copper, but sometimes I wonder if I'm going to need to do it some day when I'm ready to move on. I know they cut some slack relative to dings on older coins. Think this would slab at PCGS or NGC?:
Idhair, I liked that lucky penny token from the Pan-American Exposition in 1901. Unfortunately, President McKinley must not have been carrying one of those.

Only cost a few $'s to give it a try. Tremendous up side I like it!
1st is a new image of an NGC 66*RB, 2nd is a new coin from Angel Dee's, PCGS MS66RD. The NGC coin has the 'sans-serif' mintmark, while the PCGS coin has the 'serif' style mintmark. According to Coppercoins, the 'sans-serif' is slightly less common, but not enough to affect value. Happy New Year Everyone!
Bill love the color on that one. Great year too. Have you sent it in to be graded? Looks super clean and nice lustre too. could go 67 if PCGS ok's the color. The nick on the "O" on the Reverse and a little chatter on the portrait may hold it back though?

I look forward to your thread each weekend.

Probably not. Still highly desirable, though.

<< <i>Sorry guys, this one is in a 67rd slab, but I have not had the heart to send it in yet for a down grade.
Don't worry about it. We've all made our share of mistakes in this hobby. Hopefully, it's a learning experience for you on your journey.
Edited to add: Need to send this one to PCGS. They've always done right by me under their "Grade Guarantee".
