Lincoln Cents everywhere ..... hard to keep up with on a piece of paper with a pencil....need a spreadsheet .....
I need a lot of coins for my set, and trying to maximize my purchases with the "right" coins. Take 11-s in 65 -- there was one on Ebay(Jetaco), Heritage, Stacks, a dealer's inventory .... and that's just one date of many that I need.
Plus the timing of the various auctions, when does internet bidding end for each one, and then there will be the bourse floor to scour.
It's enough to make my head spin clean off my body!
What you need is a good bidding software that will do group bids and stop when you win one. I have some from jbidwatcher.com that works only on ebay and only on items priced the same. So you can't bid $100 on item A and $90 on item B contingent on not winning A. You can bid $95 on both with the contingency. But like I say, it only works on ebay. --jerry
Ebay ones don't bother me. They can be managed. However, getting a comprehensive feel for all of the available coins at the show is monumental, and then you have to have a logistical plan to go after them. Like I said, there are four 11-s in 65 available this week (could be more) Two are at record levels, two have yet to change hands. And like I said when you get into this scenario with 25 different dates it can get overwhelming!
